Challenge 14: Like me? Plus pictures!!!

What I like most about myself? I suppose what I like most is my creativity. I love writing. I love drawing. I love doing crafts. When I am creating something I feel a calm and sense of peace and single minded ness that I really don't feel at other times. That's why I love this blog. Writing daily gives me a moment to reflect and create. These challenges are not always a happy thing for me. I am way too honest which, by the way is another thing I really like about myself. The honesty sometimes requires me to share things that are painful, some brutally so.

Friday night I spent crafting. I decided to make Texas Rangers birdhouses. I know, this is genius, right? Well, maybe not but it is fun and you wouldn't believe how many people who have seen them want either a Rangers, Stars, or Longhorn birdhouse. I even have a request for an Oakland A's version. (Sorry, no Yankees, Cardinals, or Angels will be available from these hands.)

Saturday it was raining and miserable but that was okay because my friend Rachel called asking if I wanted to go see Lady Antebellum. She may have called while I was covered in paint from the Rangers birdhouses I was still working on but who really cares? Concerts are in the dark! During the concert they started talking about that feeling you get when you first fall in love and how awesome it is to have a long lasting love. Suddenly it hit me, I have that feeling. I realized I am in love. I miss my love desperately when we are apart. I can't wait to see him again. I long for the time we can be together. Just me, my love and the 39,000 other people who will be there when I get to see my true love again, my soul mate. Okay, if a guy can marry bacon, I can marry the Texas Rangers, right? Seriously, they have been there for me longer than any man. They give me incredible joy and heartache but isn't that what love is all about? The concert was amazing. In all honestly I really liked Darius Rucker better then Lady Antebellum. :)

Sunday I got to hang out with my friend Liz. This is us about to have some margaritas at Red Robin. (I was wearing my Mavs T hoping to bring them luck, it didn't work). Forgive my ponytail. This weather does nothing for my naturally curly hair. It actually didn't look as bad as in this picture, promise. We went to see Safe House after lunch because honestly, after having to relive my broken heart in a blog this weekend, well, I just really needed a movie where everything gets blown to bits.
Happy Monday, if you are off do something fun!
Hugs :)
