Never, Ever, Ever plus Yuesday Tueaday!

Linking up with Neely at A complete waste of makeup  for Never, Ever, Ever.
Here is what I will Never, ever, ever say again..or do...or both:

Never, ever, ever:

*will I think Adam Levine isn't just amazing looking.
*will I pass on a beerita.
*will I cheer against a DFW team.
*will I say football is better than baseball
*will I think men on mountain bikes aren't sexy as heck.
*will I not look when I pass the Fire Department.
*will I love push-ups.
*will I turn the phone off for more then an hour.
*will I not be 99% sure manna from heaven is Chick-Fil-A nuggets.
*will you hear me tell another person they are going to Hell for anything. I don't know God's will and it is not up to me to pass judgement.
*will I turn down free Rangers, Mavs, Stars, or Cowboy tickets...in that order!
*will I chase a man again. I am worth too much and I deserve so much better.
*will I be anyone but myself. I may be difficult, stubborn, and loud but I have a heart of gold and I would die for the people I love.
*will I walk away from chips and salsa even though I should!
*will I tell myself I can't.
*will I doubt again that I was put on this earth to be a mother. I will have my children and it will happen soon.
*will I stress because I don't have a child yet. I am counting on y'all to hold me to this one.
*will I think the last man I dated is the last man I will ever date until someone puts a ring on it.
*will I confuse sex and love. Too honest? Sorry.
*will I not post a picture of me wearing a new shirt. I'm so vain!

I am really loving my new makeup.  That's for real! I think I look cute!  Words I have rarely ever said!

It's Yuesday so I am rocking my #11 T and headed to the ballpark for game 1 of 3 this week....I think. Plus, I am going to get some extra free tickets tonight! Oh I love my life!!

Weekend Randoms: Baseball, Life, Love & Easter!

Thursday night I decided I was going to give up all social media for 24 hours on Good Friday and to be honest, except for working on my new blog header on Blogger (I love it!) and creating a Facebook page for Simply Me the way I see it, I managed to stay off everything else. I know, I am shocked too! No Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Blogging, Instagram, Timehop, LinkedIn, not even Meet-Up. I really felt left out! I was forced to keep everything to myself or text my friends. Apparently I was texting Chance stuff he saw on Twitter 2-3 days ago. I am so lost! Crazy!

The great part about Friday is that I survived one pretty awful week. I was under the weather and under a lot of pressure. There is irony in the last thing I handled Friday afternoon. I had a situation involving a bike rider who's name is the same as someone I kind of had a personal relationship with in the past and who is a bike rider. The name is not really common so that was odd enough but in a week of near misses on costly blunders this one could have cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. Thankfully, I got it handled in under 40 minutes and put that baby to bed as I was running out the door.

We are officially 1 day from Easter and Opening Day! It is a double holiday! Jesus and Major League Baseball return on the same day and this makes me, simply happy!

Add to that a very real possibility this weekend will include a lot of time on my favorite bike and it is looking golden! (Obviously I wrote this before the flood last night! Boo to no trails east of Ft.Worth!) Plus I start my 30 Day Bike Challenge on Monday. Rain or shine!

By the way, I spoke with my uncle Thursday night and he is doing very well. He is finally home and while he will be off work for a time with that head injury he is upbeat! I thank every one of my friends and all of the perfect strangers who prayed for him.

I absolutely believe this is true for me and everyone who has ever felt they lost something or someone they really thought they wanted. Someone who just seemed to get you. Someone told me recently your soulmate isn't the one perfect person for you it is the one person you end up with who turns into the perfect person for you. I love this because for a long time I thought maybe my soulmate was killed in a tragic piano accident or maybe he screwed up and let me get away. Turns out I was wrong. My soulmate is not someone who I lost. My soulmate is someone who will never get lost, never go away, never abandon me. God has a plan and at some point I just decided to give in to His plan, be happy, and trust God. If He wants me to be with a guy trapped under a piano he will raise him. If He wants me to be with someone who tossed me aside, He will toss me right back. If He wants me to be with someone else, He will let me run into someone else on a bike at Northshore, Horseshoe, Erwin, RCP, LBH or River Legacy. Something like that.
Be happy people! Life is a joyous adventure and a gift! Live the present and as always

I am! Lent is over and my antibiotics are done! I get to drink and tweet again (lookout!!) plus watch baseball ride my bike and love! Life is amazing!

What would I have Tweeted? Blog Update

I may not keep my alcohol free Lent but I have done pretty well on not tweeting. Ok, yes I checked my timeline about once a day. Yes, I did tweet my blogs through Blogger. Yes, I did tweet links from my Timehop and a few other apps that have Twitter access. No, my friend, I didn't tweet more than everyone who didn't give up Twitter for lent. (Yes, I saw your comment smarty pants!) So, has my Twitterless lent been successful? Kind of. Yes, it is back on my phone.

I know you are out there laughing at me! I even know who some of you are. Oh shush! It's my Lent and I make the rules. Here is the thing, I gave up Twitter because I needed time to figure things out and guess what? It worked. I am super happy, everything is awesome, and nobody can rain on my cray parade!

So I was thinking, "What would I have tweeted the last five weeks if I had been on Twitter?" Well, I know the suspense is killing you so here goes:

*Oh my GOD Rangers...what are you doing? Nolan!! No!!!!!

*Josh Hamilton nobody cares. Really just please shut up.

*Please stop raining! I want to ride!

*Y'all I am at a club and some woman is showing off her baby's pictures. At a club!

*OMG now baby mama's friend is crying at the club looking at the baby pictures!

*I'm in hell!

*I'm taking a wine glass painting class tonight with Trish!! So excited! Baseball glasses!!!

* I love my bike! This is the most fun anyone can have ever! At least fully dressed! ;-) :-0

*Nolan and JD please kiss and make up so we can beat the crap out of the Angels!

*My gosh why can't you people stop being fish?

*I don't know why anyone even bothers to unmask Twitter Catfish. It's just twitter y'all! Relax!

*I don't know how but I know Jerry Jones and Tony Romo are responsible for the JD-Nolan break-up.

*When did Kindergarten become Twitter?

*We need rules that on days when it is going to be nice, I have work off to ride!!!

*Yes! Let's spring forward & never fall back again. #MyBikeIsBACK

*Oh, just shut UP Josh Hamilton

*I see Holland and his woman broke up again on Twitter. Really? Grown Ups keep it private!

*Really Josh, we boo'd you because you quit so stop crying.

*Silver Linings Playbook: What Cowboy fan in their right MIND would ever bet on them in December?

*USA USA USA!

*I like what I see from Derek Holland! Hopefully he is focused on baseball now!

*I love baseball!

*Happy Dance I got my Rangers tickets! Opening Day here I come again!

*I have the most awesome friends! No really! Y'all should be jelly!

*Lucky Girl!! I'm a lucky girl!!!

*How the heck do you buy a house and not tell your daughter?really???

*Oh look everyone, Josh Hamilton is crying about being boo'd again!

*Are the Mavs still playing?

*If football players are worried about getting hurt they should play BASEBALL!

*OMG Benedict you are leaving us? #SadCatholicFace

*I got new bling

*Are the Stars still playing?

*Rangers countdown! Opening day in______Days!!

*It's beautiful outside #GoGetYaSome!

*Y'all I got mad skills!

*That moment when you get to your door & see a package from MLB.Com & don't know what's in it! #Facepalm

*The new pope is funny! #iStillMissBenedict

*Is it wrong that I think of the popes in music? #BennyAndTheJets vs #FrankieSayRelax

*I wish these trees would stop pulling out in front of me. #Ouch

*It's baseball season!

*OMG it's cold!!! Who ordered this cold weather?

*I totally love Downton Abbey

*I can't wait until I read Baseball tweets and NO Duck Dynasty tweets! #IJS

*Bicycle bicycle bicycle
I want to ride my bicycle bicycle bicycle.

*I want to ride my bicycle
I want to ride my bike
I want to ride my bicycle
I want to ride it where I like.

*Please shut up Josh Hamilton. I am so sick of hearing you whine about fans booing you. You QUIT on this team. You QUIT on these fans!

*snakes! DORBA is talking snakes. Please don't tell me to bunny hop them! #HateSnakes

*The Rangers walk off last night made me smile when I woke up from my drug induced haze. Beating the Angels rocks.

*Anytime I have to ride through a creek I worry about snakes....please stop!

*OMG this hot guy bracketology is Tough!! Jeez! I really SHOULD drink! Chance is up against Mark Harmon #WhatsAgirlToDo?

*I like talking about the Rangers winning the World Series like it is a fact and not a crazy dream like it used to be..when not if!

*Nothing on earth feels better than the wind in your face and dirt under your tires! #MTB

*No drunk tweets y'all! Sorry but I gave up drunk for Lent. #iSuckAtThatToo

*Note to self, never give up alcohol for lent. #NextYearGiveUpLent

*Odd compliment of the day: you'd make a really good drug addict. What??

*Riding cures stress and depression! I have both. Had....#Winning

That about covers it, I think.
Do you miss me yet? Have you even noticed I was gone? Tweet at ya later Tweethearts!

Enjoy the ride!

Mobile Monday Weekend Wrap Up!

USA! USA! USA! USA!

Friday:
My plans this weekend to mountain bike were delayed thanks to rain. I walked out of work Friday and got in the car to head to the trail and before I made it to the 2nd stop light it was pouring and I...was pouting.

So I headed home to get ready for my awesome Friday night of painting....wine glasses with Trish! (I broke lent hard too. Not only did I eat meat on Friday but I drank wine....lots of it and I think I semi-drunk texted Chance and he yelled at me and called me by my middle name which he does when he is yelling at me...just like a good dad or best friend.)

So...the glasses.

First I free handed my T's.

After a couple coats of red it was time to flip them and paint the baseballs...which you have to do backwards. Once the lines are painted and dried then you just paint the white and when it is all done....

Aren't they pretty?

I love my bike coffee cup!

I have no idea why I took this but you know...this is reality. Blah! No wonder I am single. Haha!

My mom and I had a text discussion because I am still not talking to her and it was basically an "enjoy the new house. I am not traveling to Rockwall" exchange. Okay, I had planned to go out there Sunday to ride Squabble but that was cancelled thanks to...rain!

My day got better when I got this email!

The rain kept me from hitting a trail with Khrystal ;( but not from my bike. I just couldn't take it anymore and finally I gave up and hit the concrete and you know what? It was glorious!!!

I was really happy to spend some time with the Dominican team Saturday where I got to see some of my favorite Ranger players!

I watched that crazy Mexico-Canada game too! Wow, Mexico, really?

I was cleaning Saturday and I found some Rangers promotional items I had picked up for someone last year and never had a chance to give to him. Nothing too exciting... A 40th anniversary program and a all-time Rangers poster. That made me a little sad for many reasons. Ah, well...moving on, I guess.

I am going to be honest, I had some stuff I needed to deal with and some decisions I need to make so Saturday night I wanted quiet and baseball so I stayed home and pondered my life changes and watched the USA play in the World Baseball Classic. It's like the Olympics and happens once every 4 years. You know the Olympics, right? Where baseball and softball are NOT played!

I really couldn't wait to spring forward! This is so important for my ability to ride safely. I can't wait to hit the trails after work again!

Oh, and I had to bake my wine glasses? Yes, you bake them for 45 minutes but you have to wait 24 hours to do it. I was nervous but they turned out perfect! My friends should be prepared to get Texas Rangers wine glasses as gifts in the future. I already have ideas for other designs!

I really missed Twitter Saturday! I wanted to chant with them watching USA! USA! baseball. I wanted to talk about plays and do what I do. I didn't. I watched Team USA and quietly or not so quietly screamed when David Wright hit the grand slam to break the tie! God, I love baseball!

Confession: y'all know by now I went to the University of Texas. Well I have this really involuntary habit of doing this when I am watching other teams that I care about do something awesome:

Team USA or Notre Dame. I just throw the Hook 'em! (Chance: I know you are making gagging noises. Stop it you annoying Aggie! This is your fault for having such great taste in friends and rotten taste in schools!)

I love snuggling with my girls on the weekend! Ries never let's me get photos of her but Sunday she just stood there posing!

I found Sadie snuggling in the sports room after my shower. She always kicks the other "animals" out of her bed. Poor Ranger Bear!

So have you all heard of Gizoogle.net?

Seriously go onto it and search your @TwitterID or your name. So funny! This is not a clean language site but I don't think I have ever seemed cooler!

I am thinking of changing my profiles to this version...cause I'm a skanky, gangsta!

Thanks to Rachel for texting me to try this!

This...makes me sad!

More baseball & concrete riding Sunday! Here I am ready to cheer Texas Rangers pitcher Derek Holland & Team USA!

So good to see this smile!!!

This guy is going to have a rebound season for Texas! I believe!

This is just awesome sauce! Under 3 weeks on Monday (20-Days---this is Sunday's photo)

Okay a few bike funnies...these made me laugh...so true!

When I went out to go shopping Sunday morning I found this on my door! I LOVE my new tumbler & can't wait to ride the woods! (Concrete riding is not as challenging)

She is biking on ice in a skirt and heels....I just can't even! Haha!!

Well....what can I say except maybe now you know why bike guys are so happy and nice! :-)

Don't say it! Haha!

This is so me!!

I sure hope so because mine needs some serious winter lazy work!!!

I'm posting this early because...well I want to so Happy Sunday/Monday!!

Kisses & Hugs!

Laura

Friday FUNday!!!

Oh, my!!! It's finally here! It's Friday! It's Friday and I am leaving early! It's Friday and I am leaving early to meet Khrystal! It's Friday and I am leaving early to meet Khrystal and RIDE my bike!!!

It's a bad picture but I love my "This girl loves to Mountain Bike" T!

Do you think I am a little bit excited about that???

Once my baby girl and I are done getting reacquainted I have to come home, shower and get ready to go see Trish. I am not going to tell you what we are doing because I will show you next week. It. Will. Be. Epic!

Saturday I am going to spend some time riding if the weather is good and probably go hang with my girl Rachel and who knows what?

I also want to mention one thing...about Lent. I really thought when I gave up Twitter the not posting to Twitter was going to be the hard part. (Yes a few thing still post but I am not actively tweeting. Other programs like my blog have Twitter access.) I thought I would miss it a lot. What I found is that I don't miss the random tweets about things making me crazy. Probably because I just email Rachel or text Chance. They will probably be very glad when Lent is over! Chance especially who just ignores me now. Where is the love?

But no! You know what has been hard? Not drinking when I go out! Oh my! Not having a margarita or a glass of wine with friends is really, really hard! Not having a glass of wine on Friday night after a really bad week is excruciating. I don't drink that much. I really don't but when you can't have something it is that much harder to live without! I mean honestly, who doesn't want Chik-fil-a three times as much on Sunday? I could eat tuna every day but make me eat fish on Friday and I want chicken or pizza.

I think that is human nature. We always want what we can't have more. We always want who we can't have more. Or, maybe it is just me who wants what and who she can't have....more.

Happy Friday! I intend to spend the weekend being happy with what and who I can have!
