Blog Update: Sports Room Final!

If you follow my blog you may recall I started working on my spare bedroom a few weeks ago. Well, I worked on it a little but got side tracked. (I may get side tracked often which is why I have a hard time competing stuff!)

Saturday I finished it....for now. I decided not to paint it because I don't want to paint right now and because I like the color of the room. I painted it maybe a year ago so I'm good with it the way it is for now.

So here is a look at my room. This is now Sadie's favorite room and she has not left it all day...so if you see a black spot on the bed, that's my girl.

These are panoramic shots so it looks a little overwhelming.

I just love the Texas shelf thing Donny gave me before he moved oh and married the super awesome Katie.

Now I have some Christian art mixed in because Jesus and sports are very close for me. I like that they share a room.

Here are some normal shots that give you a little closer view.

This room is full of Rangers, Mavs, Longhorns, and Irish but there is a Cowboy poster too. It happens.

(Note: don't open the computer cabinet if you visit. I still need to figure out what to do with a ton of books!)

Believe it or not, I actually have a box of Sports stuff in the closet.

Sadie sleeping on the bed. Ries can't jump that high so she sleeps at the foot of the bed when I am in there.

Here is a little bit closer view of a couple favorite in the room.

I have scattered family photos throughout and Santa Ranger fan.

This poster was handed out on Opening Day 1994 and is a replica of the tickets received by those who won the Opening Day Lottery. (My Opening Day ticket is on top of the cabinet). This was the year The Ballpark in Arlington now Rangers Ballpark in Arlington opened.

My Bobbleheads, replica AL Championship trophy and Dirk Shoe.

The table my sweet neighbor Sharon gave me along with the one of my cool baseball lamps!

Anyway, that's the room for now. My friends who stay over now have a place to sleep. So do the kids.

Now I just have to figure out what is left in the two boxes I haven't opened and I have to get rid of some stuff. Yish!

Simply,
Laura

Wow that's a lot of sports goodies!! I want a pillow pet like those for INC, but I don't want to pay for it. Lol. Room looks great!

Laura @Simply Me, The way I see it said...

I didn't realize how much I had, honestly! I need to add a 2nd floor to the house for a game room , I guess.
I wish they had an ND pillow pet but I can't find one. The dogs love them. Haha!!
